This Emergency Response Guide contains instructions to assist members of the Tufts Community in responding to a variety of emergencies that may affect a Tufts campus. The most important information you can use in an emergency is the number to contact Tufts Police, shown here, and shown in the right-hand column of each page in the guide. It's suggested that you program the 10-digit emergency and non-emergency numbers into your cellphone for your particular Tufts campus.

Contact Community Policing for an orange sticker with the emergency number printed on it to place on your desk phone.

You can also dial 9-1-1 for an emergency anywhere in Massachusetts. Prepare for an emergency before it happens: program the emergency number for the University Police into your mobile telephone.
