Tufts University is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to comprehensively identify and assess natural, human-caused, and technological hazards, and their consequences, and develop a comprehensive multi-campus hazard mitigation plan addressing those hazards. The plan must be approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) pursuant to 44 CFR § 201.6 Local Mitigation Plans, and must meet the requirements of the Emergency Management Standard 2013 §§ 4.3 and 4.4.
Qualifications for Responding
Interested vendors must have extensive experience in higher education and in hazard mitigation planning, and be able to demonstrate their proven ability to coordinate, evaluate, and develop a FEMA-approved hazard mitigation plan. Companies responding to the RFP must meet the following minimum qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in higher education emergency management.
Successful approval pursuant to 44 CFR § 201.6 of a mitigation plan developed for a client, preferably a private institution of higher education, submitted after October 1, 2011.
