Emergency Preparedness & Response

Preparation is the responsibility of every member of the community. Individuals should prepare with supplies, a plan to stay in touch, and information about what to do in an emergency, and what’s happening during a disaster. Departments should also prepare with their own plans, to address their own particular needs for emergency response and continuity of operations.

    As part of program funded by a Department of Education grant, the university is pleased to introduce the Tufts Ready|continuity web-based planning tool. Starting in January 2012 departments across the university will have access to this resource to simplify the task of developing a department continuity plan.
