Emergency Operations Plan
The Tufts University Emergency Operations Plan establishes the framework for management of adverse events that threaten the safety and security of people, property, the environment, or critical operations on any of Tufts’ campuses. This plan, which supersedes all previous emergency operations plans, represents the evolution of emergency planning by the university beginning in 1999.
The Emergency Operations Plan is designed to take into consideration the complexity and diversity of the university’s varied campuses, schools, divisions, and centers and is the work of a university-wide team to plan for, respond to, and recover from critical events that may occur on or near the campuses.
This plan is intended to be readily available to the entire Tufts community through electronic distribution. Some non-public information is redacted from this publicly-available version.
